Cross Wordly

Brief Description: 

Crossworldly is a Daily Crossword Game inspired from the viral internet game 'Wordle'

Duration: December 2022 - 2023 (ongoing)

Objective/Brief & Key Responsibilities: 

Joined the team at a live-ops phase where they were targeting improvements in Specific KPIs namely, D0 engagement and D1 Retention. My responsibilities since are to analyze data with the Product Manager to plan and design the features, improvements, or changes required to address the next set of problem areas highlighted through the Data Analysis.

Word Search: Blitz Scapes

Platform: Facebook Instant 

Software used: Cocos Creator 2D, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, JIRA

Brief Description:

Word Search is a 3D Word Puzzle Game where players have to find as many words as they can from a Randomly generated 3D Shape each day. The goal is to use up all the cubes while also scoring the highest.

Duration: May 2022 - August 2022

Team Size: 3

Objective/Brief & Key Responsibilities: 

The project started as an experiment by a developer to test the 3D capabilities of the engine we were using and eventually got picked up as an official project. The brief was to design, develop and release the game within 2 months. My responsibilities were to make design specifications and UI flows for the whole game and any additional features being added after launch and to coordinate with the solo artist and developer working on this with me as the producer of the project.

Quote-Its

Platform: Facebook Instant 

Software used: Cocos Creator 2D, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, JIRA

Brief Description:

Quote-its is a word puzzle game where the player solves a variety of clues to guess words that reveal a Quote or Interesting facts related to the theme of the puzzle. The game tries to replicate the trend of sharing images with inspiring quotes or interesting facts on text groups by family members generating such images once a player solves a puzzle.

Duration: August 2022 - November 2022

Team Size: 1 - (External Development and Art)

Objective/Brief & Key Responsibilities: 

The project was an approved concept waiting for a designer to pick it up and expand upon it. After being assigned the project my major tasks were to make design specifications and UI flows for the whole game and any additional features being added after launch and to coordinate external developers regarding any bugs, changes or additions required.

Hangman Tournament

Brief Description:

Hangman Tournament is a 2D Word Puzzle Game aimed to give the players a nostalgic experience playing the classic Hangman Word Game with paper and pen style art and animations and familiar rules and gameplay.

Objective/Brief & Key Responsibilities: 

The project was assigned to me by the Head of Design as a personally pitched idea of his. The brief was to design a classic hangman experience to capitalize on the word game trend on Facebook instant games and use nostalgia to drive in new players. My responsibilities were to make design specifications and UI flows for the whole game and any additional features being added after launch and to coordinate with the solo artist and developer working on this with me as the producer of the project.
