
Professional Journey
As a game designer with working experience in mobile game studios across India, I have worked on a variety of casual games, including cooking, match-2, puzzle, and card battlers. My daily responsibilities included creating design documents, pitching features, and designing systems working with developers for diverse projects. I have also contributed as a level designer on numerous titles, ranging from casual cooking games to puzzle subgenres like match-2, number, and word puzzles. Being an avid player of strategy and management games that feature interconnected systems and depth in their gameplay I have grown a keen interest in systemic games. Opportunities to work on and contribute to such systems and game genres in a professional capacity is something I am pursuing actively. My design philosophy focuses on using familiar mechanics and interactions to blend unexpected themes and genres, a concept that has started to emerge in my recent work and ideas, which I look forward to exploring further. Earning my MA in Game Design from the University of the Arts London (UAL LCC) allowed me to refine my approach, balancing structured, data-driven methodologies with creative experimentation across different mediums and genres. My background in mobile gaming has provided me with a strong foundation in scalable and rational design, which I aim to apply to projects that inspire and challenge both players and myself. Looking ahead, I am committed to creating games that offer a sense of familiarity through new experiences, seamlessly blending genres, and leaving a lasting impression on players, much like the games that have shaped my own journey.

Assocciate Game Designer

Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Hired as an Associate Game Designer who could immediately focus on Level Design for a live project, the learning curve was very steep. After having worked on the project enough to understand the progress made and where they were headed my scope of work increased to making feature pitches and Design specifications. Cympl gave me the experience of working on long projects and doing Live Ops on them, both games being popular sub-genres of Casual Mobile Games.

Game Design Intern

Hired as a Game Design Intern for a 3 Month Summer Internship. This Internship being my first professional experience, required me to learn as much as I could about the job, everyone's role, and the games they made in a matter of days and started with UI wireframes within a week. After a month of working on a variety of small tasks, my scope of work expanded to that of a full-time designer, working on Game Concept Pitches for External Brand and IP acquisitions, Feature Pitches, and documentation for additions to existing projects. Overall an Awesome Learning Experience!! with generous seniors who gave me responsibilities that you wouldn't usually get as an intern.
2018 - 2019 (6M)
Freelance Game Designer
Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Worked as a Game Design Consultant on 2 freelance projects for two separate Development teams. The first project was system design and balancing for an idle clicker game and the second was the design and documentation and production of a teen patti game for a private contractor. My responsibilities for both of these projects involved everything from coordinating with developers and artists to help them understand the design and test for bugs and propper implementation.
